WIMBLEDON, LONDON, UK – Neal Skupski teamed up with Desirae Krawczyk for the event. The Brit/American paired up for the mixed doubles.

Neal Skupski teamed up with Desirae Krawczyk to enter the mixed doubles at the All England Club. As seventh seeds they received a bye into the second round. Skupski & Krawczyk were up against Luke Bambridge and Asia Muhammad in the second round. The seeds were on top in the first set breaking to take the lead. In the second set Bambrige & Muhammad tried to fight back and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker the seeds edged through to book a spot into the next round 6-3, 7-6(7).

In the third round the Brit/American were against Arthur Fery & Tara Moore. The first set was very close, as the Brits forced the seeds to a tiebreak. Skupski & Krawczyk edged the breaker to take the lead. In the second set the Brit/American broke Fery & Moore to book a spot in the next round 7-6(5), 6-3.

The quarter-final saw the Brit/American against 14th seeds Jean-Julien Rojer & Andreja Klepac. The Dutch/Slovenia pair stayed toe to toe with Skupski & Krawczyk in the first set, forcing a tiebreak. The breaker saw the seventh seeds edge ahead to take the lead. In the second set the Brit/American dominated and booked a semi-final spot 7-6(6), 6-2.

In the semi-final the Brit/American were up against 17th seeds John Peers & Zhang Shuai. The Australian/Chinese pair broke Skupski & Krawczyk to take the first set. However, the seventh seeds re-grouped in the second set and forced a tiebreak. In the breaker the Brit/American toook the lead and didn’t look back. In the final set, Skupski & Krawczyk fought well and managed to break Peers & Shaui in the final set to move into the final 3-6, 7-6(4), 7-5.

The final saw Skupski & Krawczyk against Joe Salisbury & Harriet Dart. The first set was dominated by the seeds who broke to take the lead. The second set saw both pair hold serve and unable to break. In the ensuing tiebreak the seeds dominated and secured the title 6-2, 7-6(1).

Naiktha Bains & Samantha Murray Sharan were defeated by Varvara Gracheva & Oksana Kalashnikova in the first round in Wimbledon 6-3, 6-4.

Sarah Beth Grey & Emily Webley-Smith were defeated by Tereza Martincová & Markéta Vondroušová in the first round in Wimbledon 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-4.
