As Andy Murray rests and recuperates for Roland Garros and Wimbledon, there is a busy card of men’s doubles action next week.
Colin Fleming renews his partnership with Jonny Marray at the ATP250 Power Horse Cup in Dusseldorf where they are top seeds.
They will play Dustin Brown and Frank Moser in the first round on the clay in Germany.
Joining them in the draw is Jamie Murray and his regular doubles partner, Australian John Peers.
If they defeat their first round opponents of Christopher Kas and Oliver Marach they will face the winner of Fleming and Marray’s match.
After playing separately in Rome this week, Dominic Inglot reunites with usual partner Treat Huey and are third seeds, facing Philipp Marx and Florin Mergea in round one.
The winners of that match will face the winner of Jamie Delgado and Tomasz Bednarek’s first round tie against, Daniel Brands and Igor Sijsling.
All four British influenced teams are in the same half of the draw, meaning a lot of potential for Brit v Brit matchups; if all four teams win their first round match then we will be guaranteed a Brit in the final.
Meanwhile Ken Skupski made the main draw of the ATP 250 Open De Nice Cote D’azur in France, with Andreas Seppi.
They face Mikhail Elgin and Denis Istomin in round one on the red clay in Nice.
