With barely two hours to go before the quarter-final against Roger Federer, Nick Kyrgios announced to his followers on Twitter that he would have to withdraw from the match with suspected food poisoning.
The stars continue to align for the four time champion in the Californian desert as the ‘Death Valley Quarter’ yielded its biggest upset with Kyrgios upending the five time champion Novak Djokovic for the second time in a row since beating the World No. 2 in Acapulco.
