Ros Satar

Ros is a keen sports follower – having been a 400m hurdler in her time, she now contents herself with (far too) occasional trips to the gym and pool, and terrorising golf balls with big heavy bats! Sometimes known to hurtle uncontrollably down ski slopes, and even possesses a tennis racquet! Formerly an IT Architect for a large multinational corporation, she now works for herself as full-time Writer and some-time IT Analyst, she can be contacted via her public Linked In profile. Ros enjoys combining the wealth of skills she has developed during her career with any opportunities for freelance blogging & journalism, especially in (but not exclusive to) the world of sport, and completed a Diploma in Multimedia Journalism, in July 2012. She holds a UK National Press Card and has recently become a member of the Sports Journalists Association of Great Britain and the International Sports Press Association. She has written for the Huffington Post UK, Newsquest (Surrey), Sportsister.com and writes as a freelance contributor for 10sBalls.com, Tennis View Magazine and Tennis Panorama News. The LTA has lost the services of Stephen Farrow: tournament director at Queen’s Club & the driving force behind Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup ties, as well as the other summer grass events. Big shoes to fill in a very challenging year.
