SHARM EL SHEIKH, EGYPT – Aleksandra & Katarzyna Pitak claimed the title in the popular Egyptian resort. The British sisters only dropped one set en route to lifting the trophy .

Aleksandra & Katarzyna Pitak entered the ITF event in Sharm El Sheikh and faced a tough first round match. The Brits drew the top seeds Ola Abou ZekryJacqueline Cabaj Awad. The Brits got off to the better start and broke serve of Abou Zekry & Cabaj Awad in the first set. The Egyptian/Swedish partnership tried to fight back in the second, but the Pitak sisters held on to break at the end for a straight sets win 6-3, 7-5.

The quarter-final saw the Brits up against Anais Defossez & Amber Washington. The Belgian/American pairing kept toe to toe with the Pitak sisters in the first set, forcing a tiebreak. Defossez & Washington were unable to stop the Brits from easing through the tiebreak. The second set saw the Pitak sisters move up a gear and dominate the points, with the Belgian/American unable to get back into it. The Brits went through in straight sets 7-6(4), 6-2.

In the semi-final the Brits were against Martina Pradova & Ivana Topcic. The Czech/Croatian pair proved to be difficult opponents, as the Pitak sisters found their serve broken in the first set. However, in the second the Brits re-grouped and came out fighting to level the match and force a match tiebreak. The Brits edged through to book their spot in the final 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.

The final pitched the Brits against Nikola Breckova & Martina Fricova. The Czech/Slovakian pair were of no match for the Pitak sisters who strolled through the final with ease. Dropping only three games the Brits lifted the title and claimed their second doubles title of the season 6-2, 6-1.

Emilie Lindh with Ashmitha Easwaramurthi were defeated by Sophie Muntean & Isabella Tcherkes Zade in the quarter-final of Sharm El Sheikh 6-4, 7-5.

Kyle Edmund with Márton Fucsovics were defeated by Rohan BopannaÉdouard Roger-Vasselin in the first round of Beijing 6-2, 7-6(5).

Dom Inglot with Franko Skugor were defeated by Raven Klaasen & Michael Venus in the quarter-final of Tokyo 3-6, 7-6(7), 11-9.

Joe Salisbury with Yasutaka Uchiyama were defeated by Klaasen & Venus in the semi-final of Tokyo  4-6, 7-6(2), 18-16.

Jamie Murray with Bruno Soares were defeated by Salisbury & Uchiyama in the quarter-final of Tokyo 7-6(4), 4-6, 10-3.

Heather Watson with Monique Adamczak were defeated by Alicja Rosolska & Abigail Spears in the first round of Beijing 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.

Jay Clarke with Roberto Maytín were defeated by John Paul FrutteroPatrick Kypson in the first round of Stockton 6-4, 6-3.

Evan Hoyt with Dusty H Boyer were defeated by Brydan Klein & Scott Puodziunas in the semi-final of Australia 6-2, 6-4.

Brydan Klein with Scott Puodziunas were defeated by Jeremy Beale & Thomas Fancutt in the final of Australia 2-6, 6-4, 10-6.
