Jose Mourinho unsure on the $1 million question
Jose Mourinho is constantly being linked with becoming the next Manchester United manager and there is no doubt he wants the job. This week he has said he does not know about becoming the next Manchester United manager, but is hoping to be back in football this summer.
As reported in Eurosport, Mourinho was speaking in Singapore speaking at a school when he was asked if he will replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, Mourinho said “That’s the one million dollar question. Nobody knows and I am the first one not to know. I read so many different things.”
He added “Starting next season with a new club and project is probably the best for me.”
This is no doubt an invitation to Manchester United letting them know where he wants to be next season.
Louis Van Gaal’s future has been a regular source of speculation recently with United in fifth in the Premier League and six points off fourth-placed Manchester City. United also went out of the Champions League at the group stages in what was a relatively easy group.
Mourinho was sacked by Premier League rivals Chelsea in December and has since been linked with United and a return to Serie A side Inter Milan and Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Afghan boy gets a real Messi shirt
A young boy from Afghanistan became an online hit after wearing a homemade shirt made from a striped blue plastic bag with Messi’s number 10 on the back. He has now been sent a real shirt by Messi – an Argentina shirt signed by the man himself.
Known as “Messi’s biggest fan”, five-year-old Murtaza Ahmadi said, as quoted by UNICEF “I love Messi and my shirt says Messi loves me,” according to CNN.
The picture of him wearing the plastic bag was posted on Facebook by Murtaza’s brother and it immediately went viral.
Messi is a goodwill ambassador for Unicef and the agency helped to get the shirt to the young boy. Messi also sent some extra shirts and a football after the five-year-old’s father said Murtaza’s football had been punctured.

Louis van Gaal wants his side to be ‘horny’
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has told his players to be “horny” after demanding more passion for their Europa League game against FC Midtylland.
According to the BBC, the bizarre statement came after Van Gaal was asked what he wanted from his team, Van Gaal replied: “Desire, hunger. A lot of times I use the word ‘horny’.”
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata was sat next to Van Gaal in the press conference and the Spaniard had a little smirk on his face.
The Europa League is United’s best hope of Champions League qualification with United 2-1 down to the Danish side going into second leg, having already been knocked out of the Champions League.
“Coming to Old Trafford is the match of their lives,” Van Gaal said of Midtjylland . “I was not a great player, but I was always at my best in a full stadium.”
British Premier League action resumes on Saturday, starting with West Ham v Sunderland at 12:45 GMT.
